That's right. Exactly one week until school starts. Technically, now there are only 6 days left. Good news! The water is turned on in the building! Yay for being able to go to the bathroom at our school! (It's the little things sometimes...)
Also more AWESOME news! We found out today that we ARE getting a classroom stipend for decorations and consumable items. This made me SO HAPPY! Best part, I went and calculated how much I have spent so far, and I with everything, I still have like $30 left to spend of the money that I will get reimbursed. Yay!
This makes me REALLY want to get a projector. However, I still want to wait to purchase one because we really do not know what we are getting in our classrooms. Now that I know that all of my money that I have already spent is going to be reimbursed, I feel much more comfortable buying a projector, apple tv, and the cords needed to wirelessly attach my iPad to my projector. I know it will make my life much easier and will be much more beneficial to my students learning.
We will find out sometime today whether or not we can get into our rooms tomorrow. I doubt we can from seeing the building today, it's still not ready. Tomorrow will hopefully be a day of planning, since today was not.
I'm going to get back to setting up things for my room from home!
