Today was a great day, short, but still good! We went over the teacher handbook, learned about edline, and inputing grades. Also went over some data and FCAT stuff. It was more of a boring day, but I learned a lot about my school.
I still love the 3rd grade team! We sat together all day and started some basic planning. We have so much to talk about that it is hard to know where to start. We learned about the layout of our school by walking through the school that we met at. Remember, we cannot go into our actual school until Monday. So our team started talking logistics. I am just excited for Monday. I feel like I won't feel good about anything until I start setting up my classroom.
Random fact. We learned this yesterday, but our principal has a child in 3rd grade. And now that we are doing team teaching, and each 3rd grader will have two teachers, so I have a 50% chance of having her son/daughter in my classroom. Talk about SCARY! I really hope that her child does not end up in my class. I feel like that would freak me out all year long....
Anyway, I don't have much exciting things to post yet. Next week when I'm setting up my room I'll post pictures!
